Rival ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Rival mobile application.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your username, profile picture, and fitness activity data. We also collect location data during active races to enable GPS-based competition features.
Your information is used to provide and improve the Rival experience, including matchmaking, leaderboards, race tracking, and social features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Rival uses your location only during active races and with your explicit permission. Location data is used for real-time GPS race tracking and nearby rival discovery. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for backend services, which provides enterprise-grade security and compliance.
We use Apple HealthKit and motion data (with your permission) to enhance race accuracy. We do not share HealthKit data with third parties or use it for advertising.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at cakirogluarman@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Rival is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app.
